Change at the top of Valterna

After ten years very successfully developing the company, Ivo Roos, the long-standing CEO of Valterna AG, handed over the reins to new hands. His successor René Brunner took over the management of the company on 1 July 2023.

The 50-year-old family man and passionate financial services provider through and through, René Brunner has learned his trade of investment advisory and asset management from the bottom up and has held various specialist and management positions at the two big banks Credit Suisse and UBS in his 35 years of professional life. Most recently, he spent twelve years at UBS as Head of Wealth Management for the Lucerne Region.

Ivo Roos stepped down from the role of CEO at his own request, and also with a touch of sadness, to fully devote himself in future to looking after his clients. Moreover, he will continue to significantly shape the future strategic development of Valterna AG as a member of the Board of Directors.
