Sale of Arkenda AG
2024
Valterna is transferring the property company Arkenda AG to new ownership. With the sale of the subsidiary to AMOS Immobilien AG, the focus is once again fully on its core business of asset management and investment advice.
Renaming
2023
Asset Management Partners AG is renamed Valterna AG. The terms “Value” and “Alternative” reflected in the new name sum up the company’s identity: the genuine alternative with Swiss values for your assets.
2022
FINMA licence obtained
Asset Management Partners AG successfully completes the FINMA authorisation procedure as an asset manager in accordance with the new Financial Services Act. The FINMA licence seal of approval confirms the high quality of its processes and structures. Since then, the company has been subject to prudential supervision by FINcontrol Suisse AG.
2016
Expansion of real estate management
Asset Management Partners AG acquires 100 per cent of STI, thereby expanding its range of services in the area of directly held real estate.
2014
A new era
In November, a new chapter in the company’s history begins with the acquisition of a stake in the real estate services provider STI Schilter Treuhand & Immobilien AG in Emmenbrücke.
Management buyout
2013
The members of the Executive Management, Marianne Kirchhofer and Ivo Roos, acquire the majority of shares in Asset Management Partners AG from Partners Group Holding AG as of 1 October. The two companies continue to maintain a close exchange and strong cooperation to this day.
2002
Repositioning
Asset Management Partners becomes legally independent as a public limited company and continues to operate as an independent asset manager under the umbrella of Partners Group as a subsidiary. Due to its specific expertise and entrepreneurial environment, the client focus increasingly shifts towards entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial families and institutional clients domiciled in Switzerland.

Roots
Asset Management Partners is founded by what is now Partners Group as a traditional asset management company and its first core business. Even at that time, the principles, values and objectives that continue to shape Valterna today were already part of the company’s philosophy and corporate culture.
